THAT’S HANDY – Remember the new “hand scanners” the town will begin using to track the work hours of municipal employees? Well, turns out they aren’t really “hand scanners” at all. As Town Administrator David Drumeler demonstrated last week, every employee has been given a personal identification number (PIN). Employees use their PINs to clock in an out on a digital keypad near the entrance to their workplace. The system, installed by payroll service company PayChex, is already being used at the Secaucus Recreation Center. The system is being phased in at Town Hall. SECAUCUS BRIEFS
